    Default re introducing

    hi ladies,
seeing this is a new thread i thought it would be polite to reintroduce myself and my daughter to be heart journey so far.
my name is Jenni, im 20yrs old and im currently 28 weeks pregnant with my first child who we have given the inutero name of PJ. we live in morayfield qld with my partner pete.
we were refered to dr gooi at the mater mothers at our 18 week scan.
dr gooi diagnosed pj with a unbalanced complete avsd with a small lv. on tuesday the 12th of may he is going to rescan and confirm his diagnosis and then figure out what we r going to do to try and help pj be the best she can be!
so a nervous wait for us.
you ladies are a real inspiration for me, because u show me that no matter how things turn out life still goes on and can get better after alot of pain.
will let u know how it all goes,
    jen

    hi ladies,
well todays scan with dr gooi went amazingly well. they have updated pjs diagnosis as a complete avsd (large primum asd and moderate sized inlet vsd) with a common av valve
so compared to our last scan pj has magically grown an lv and has balanced out her avsd.
so she still has a few issues we have to deal with after she is born but things have cheered up considerably.
pj measured at 2p 11oz at 28 weeks 3 days, so she is getting nice and big.
we even got to see her little face in a 4d scan and she no longer looks like gollem from lotr and more like a baby!

    Hi Jen for PJ!!!!!!!!!!

We had Dr Gooi for our scans as well. He's amazing, and explains it all so nicely and calmly. He's even good at drawing pictures!!!

I hope to meet you some time if we cross paths at the Mater. Will you have another scan a few weeks before she's due? If myself and DS hadn't been sick, I would have been up there yesterday to visit LivinOnAPrayer... and could have seen you too!

Our next appt with Jim our cardiologist is on 26th May. Hopefully if all goes well it would be another 3 months until we would see him again. But DS has been going a little more bluer recently - but he's had a cold too.

I should get myself organised... my poor boy's been so sick and unsettled that he hasn't been sleeping well and Mummy is exhausted.

Dom, when I have time, I will have to tell you our story.

    Have a good day everyone!
