I did a Calmbirth course with Lainey of 'Lotus calmbirth' before my son was born last year. It was the best thing I did. My husband and I are not at all into meditation etc, but it was really practically focussed, and helped us to spend a weekend really thinking about how we wanted to approach the labour. It also helped me to understand exactly what my body was doing during each stage of labour, which meant I wasn't stressed and scared about the pain (sorry there was still pain for me!). However, I did manage to have a completely drug free labour, and I felt on top of the world straight after the birth.

    Default hypnobirthing classes

I have just completed my hypnobirthing classes - although it was tough to find the time to do it - especially when I only have two months to go I am SOOOOO glad i did them - I feel much more relaxed and excited about the birth and it was delivered in such a simple format I feel like I know what i am doing - woohoo! I choose to do private classes rather than the group so was lucky to have one on one attention. I would recommend it to anyone who has any nervous feelings about their labour. If anyone has any questions - please feel free to drop me a line. I will update once the bub is here on how the actual labour went - but all as I can say is I cant wait for that date now

Happy birthing fifi edel! I hope you enjoy it - however it turns out It took me a long time to accept that I needed intervention, so keep practicing the relaxation - twice a day to catch up!
