No, I saw Justine run up and give Julie a hug

I agree, she was barely on camera though when you have 18 others i'm sure they're not worried about which is shown since it's not about them.

    Chris didn't look happy though.

    yay julie!!!!!

She did so well & I would definately buy her cookbook. I still think she is more a GREAT cook rather than a masterchef though.

I must say a few tears were in my eyes when her very tall DH & sons came in.

A few notable things - Did anyone notice Chris's scowl when they mentioned the $100k she would be getting???

And where was that other chick from Brisbane??? the italian one who wants to write a book on battling childhood obesity?? was she even there?

What am I going to watch now??? & what are we going to critique??

    yah for Julie

Yes, tears happen in our household.

Chris looked like a scowling grump. He didn't even tidy up for it. What happend to the tidy beard he started the show with?

Am off to look for the tart recipe now, yum!

    Lisa

ETA: 7pm, mmmm, the treadmill might get turned on again, LOL.

I was disappointed considering they helped her with her sorbet than criticized POHs. I did not like Julie at all though I would not buy her book its common food she seems to cook

I noticed everyone was yelling "Go Poh" so i think alot of the contestants wanted her to win.
I think the dessert should have been a blind test though to make it more impartial

sooo disappointed in the result last night! Typical sob story Julie got it... you could tell from the night Donna Hay was there.

I'm sure Poh will do well wherever she goes and whatever she decides to do! Good luck to her i say!

Re: the sorbet, I am sure the judges tasted elements of Poh's dish too, it may not have got on camera though. Justine said in an interview when asked if getting your meal served last was a disadvantage, that the judges tasted most elements walking around so they knew.

Also, they could have tasted poh's if she didn't leave it to the last 20 minutes.

She blatantly ignored the recipe for most of the dish so I don't really feel bad for her!

As usual, for the taste test she could have climbed higher if she'd stated obvious ingredients like carrots and beef stock instead of taking a gamble on port (same goes for Julie of course).

I think the best person on the night won, whether they were the best person full stop capital letter is a different story.

Apparently it involves forming relationships with people beyond the 2D ones on a TV screen.

Sounds like a waste of time really hey?

Julie is so proud of her boys
