zomg can someone tell me what sort of cake it was?
I missed most of the show, flicked over and saw adriano zumbo and thought ooh man they have to be making something outrageously delicious (anyone been to adriano zumbos in balmain? need drooling emoticon smilie)
Anyway I must know, I heard them saying mousse and caramel at the end when I flicked back (poor remote management in attempting to watch a few shows on my part)
I need to know..

It was a chocolate mousse cake with two layers of apple (one flambeed and one in caramel), plus layers of pastry, salted caramel, chocolate mousse - sorry I didn't see it all that is what I remember.
The show's website probably has more details and perhaps a recipe?

She may have performed the worst on the dish, but she has done so many great dishes, compared to Poh who has only just lifted her game...
Still cant believe justine left!! I thought she could have won it for sure!
I think your judging her too soon... I think its a great opportunity for her. Before she starts up her own bistro, she can learn alot more things to help her
And mmmmm I want mousse cake! Yum!!!

they do have it on the masterchef website.
omfg it has salted caramel in it, and the apples has calvados in it..
That cake would have been so yum..
I can't wait to make it.

Learn a lot about toting his selling of signed autographs on his pwn menu ..... lol seriously, who mentions on their menu - personally signed versions of mat morons book available for 70$
and then bang out mundane food and charge you $500 for the "experience" (view?)
Obviously not a big fan of aria or mat moran here...... but I guess time in a real kitchen is time in a real kitchen.

I've thought that Gary has a 'thing' for Poh from the start! Her cake last night was really mushy and the layers were not defined. Based on last night she should have gone (although she has been cooking fabulously this week).
I'm pleased Justine has such a great opportunity with Matt Moran.
