Was the only one who cringed when they did the perfect steak demo and used the garlic on a fork to stir though. I just thought 'Oh no - he is scratching the frypan'

i think sandra was a bit too confident, and she's use to her way, not the recipe, that might work against her.

George has nothing to lose by offering an apprenticeship for Aaron. He knows that lots of people give up their 'dream' to work in a professional kitchen when they experience the effort involved. George had mentioned that when he was working as an apprentice, only he and one other apprentice lasted the full twelve months. Aaron will either shine or recognise this is not where his future lies.

I note that Aaron's been moved to Hellenic Republic, not The Press Club, and I wonder why that is. He has a dream to own a restaurant but I am not sure if he realises how hard he'll need to work to make the dream a reality. It's not enough to want it, you have to put the effort in.

ummmm, what's the big deal about becoming a chef?? I don't get this program If you want to be a chef, go to TAFE, get work experience in good kitchens, be prepared to be burnt, cut, yelled at and work your a4se off for little to no $$. It's really not that hard! What they are doing is so far removed from a commercial kitchen it's not funny.
I can see the point for talent programs for industries that are hard to crack like music etc but cooking? Australia is crying out for people to finish their apprenticeships. I think the retention rate is around 50%.
    Anyway, rant over!

That said - I still watch the program

Aaron has been given a massive opportunity, hope he runs with it. Still thinks he is a bit of a goofball though.

Georgia - I guess it is a little like queue jumping isn't it???

Mocha - I found it interesting that he isn't at the Press Club now as well

I hope Justine's dish isn't the one that collapses tonight
