Haylie - What an hassle, they really do not understand the effort required to get a toddler and baby out the door sometimes Especially after such a big day for you all. Hope the dinner is yum.

Sarah - Love the photos!! The girls are beautiful. Am hoping one day I'll get to have pink and purple everywhere too Hope you're feeling better.

Lisa - Yay for the bt!! Am loving the ticker too. So it looks like the Easter bunny did bring you a good egg

Tina - Yay for the nice specialist and for some positive results on that tooth. Hopefully it leaves you alone for the next 12wks now.

Britt - Hope you enjoyed your day

AFM took Cooper for his 8wk check today. The pead was happy with him and he handle his needles pretty well, only a little cry which was stopped with the dummy. He is 4.8kg and 60cm long, so tall and skinny atm. Had another good day with the self settling am so glad he has picked it up (most of the time), and no tears! A growth spurt would explain Lachlan's huge sleeps as he is also eating like a horse, does not stop. Hmm, I think they'll both be taller than me by age 10.

Our pups are 3 boys and 3 girls, how perfect. They are getting cuter so will have to try and get a photo over the weekend to post for you.

No more going into work for me!!!!!

No more tooth pain, either!!!! (please let this be a permanent thing!)

I am dog-tired, but I feel like a few hurdles have been cleared. Now I just need to get some more things ready for the baby! I haven't even thought about my hospital bag yet. Dodgy. Must get focussed now...

Teal - oohh I'd love to see a photo of the puppies. They must be gorgeous. Lol about your boys being taller than you. I hope Jude ends up being taller than me (like, when he's an adult) as there are many short genes on DHs side. DH is my height but his Brother and Dad are much shorter. Jude is in the 5th percentile for height ATM. He's a little man.

Haylie - oh, boo to going out. I don't even have 2 kids yet but can so understand where you're coming from. Yay about the fence. You'll be in your house before you know it.

Lisa - I think it's awesome that you are due in 2009!!! So cool...feeling pg at all yet?

Sarah - ohh your girls could melt hearts!!! They are just divine. Makes me want some pink things lol. Maybe, maybe...

    everyone else.

Hope Crystal and Ezra are doing well!

Have a bit of a busy weekend unfortunately (I sound like i'm 100 years old!). It's my mates baby shower (in Brisbane) tomorrow. I have organised the prizes for the games and my Mum just wrapped them all for me. Gotta love it! I have to make a dip in the morning and of course I don't even have all of the ingredients yet. Then on Sunday we have a 2nd birthday party. Mum virtually made the entire knotted rug for him while she's been here. She's been a bit of a saviour during this crazy week.

I have a bit of a sore throat and dripping nose, so am feeling quite ordinary. DH has a bit of it too, but he only ever stays sick for 5 minutes. I hope I can beat it.

Had the blood test and strep b test this morning (which was lovely, as always). Let's hope it's a negative result. Was last time.

Ok, I'm off to watch the footy. Have a great night, girls X

Lisa, yay yay yay! Hels and I will get you back for all those bottles of wine you had while we were pg and drooling haha...
Thanks for the update from Crystal, sounds like things are going well, despite the BF'ing teething problems.

Love the comment about the revenge for all the bottles of red wine, very true!!

Hell no!! I am going to be "child-free" baby!
    Are you coming too?

Love the pics of the girls too.

Lisa - Good to hear it is all confirmed now and great to see your ticker. You belong in this thread more than I do now

    Tina
    - Great to hear the tooth is a lot better now and that you got a nice specialist. I did the strep b swab test too, mine was all ok.

That's all from me as I'm going to have an early night. We have a guy from a vendors advocacy service coming tomorrow to discuss our options for selling the house. They are basically like a broker who will liase between us and the real estate agent, which takes the pressure off us.
On sunday we have to go to the new house to move all the bricks that we are keeping and DH will install the wiring for the surround sound.

    Have a great weekend everyone

Hels - Thanks love, goodluck with the house sale.

Tina - Yay for no more work and no more tooth pain, thats such fantastic news. Now you can just get on with enjoying your last weeks of pregnancy . Have fun this weekend. I actually sorta feel PG already... feel very bloated, crampy and have been tired and giddy...

Teal - LOL, yeah looks like we did catch ourselves a last minute easter egg after all . Wow sounds like Lachlan will be a tall one! Sarah is quite tall for her age too, actually everyone in her mothers group only comes up to her shoulders!

Haylie - Hope last night went ok, its the worst thing when you have to take tired kids out and all you wanna do is curl up on the couch....

Well we are off to Dromana (near the beach/mornington) for a car club drive and lunch at a winery. Little Miss S is going to Tony's parents for the day, which I've never done before so am just a tad nervous. I'm sure she will be fine... Oh and silly me did a hpt this morning (my very last one ) and of course its the faintest of lines.... I dont think my body lieks doing hpts with FMU. Fingers crossed its still there and a sticky one... kinda gets you thinking, I know I shouldnt of done one!

oh wow, I have a lot to write, but am upstairs in bed on my phone haha. So Illl just update you on Crystal and then get on properly a little later

Talked to Crystal last night on the phone...she sounded really good. She is using a supply line with Ezra now until her milk comes in. She had a lot of issues with jer milk coming in with Ethan, so they are starting her on domperidone (spelling?) today to see if that helps bring it in. She had a rough night Thurs with a cow of a lady telling her to give Ezra a 'f-ing bottle already Anyway, she is staying positive about it all and Ezras mucous is getting better...she just adores him, says he has pretty much all of her features (as we knew)....They will be discharged on Sunday (or Mon if her milk hasnt come in).
She says she cant wait to catch up with us all and to give you all her love.

Ok, will be back a little later...

    Xxx

Just a quick one from me - so tired!! Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Went to my mates baby shower today. It was lovely - very low key, which is my friend all over - but way too much food!!! I can't believe how exhausted I am after a day of basically sitting around on my backside.

Lisa - no more HPTs for you, lady!!! I remember doing a similar thing when pg with Jude and they got lighter, too. Hope you enjoyed your day out - sounds lovely.

Britt - thanks for the update on Crystal. I can't believe someone said that to her!!! My blood is still boiling from reading it.

Hels - hope things went well with the broker. That sounds like the way to go...I wish we'd had someone to liase when we were selling our house.

My gums and jaw are quite sore today (which is totally normal after a root canal). Chewing has been a bit interesting. Tomorrow we have a birthday party at lunchtime. I know we'll end up being there all day, but I'd really like to get to the shops in the arvo as i'm feeling ansty about some things we need for the baby that we don't have! I still haven't packed anything and am feeling very disorganised. I think seeing the nursery etc at my friends house (she is due in 2 weeks) made me feel worse. Our nursery looks like a dumping ground...

    'night all.

    Hi girls

I am so tired We didn't get home until nearly 11pm last night but thankfully Mason fell asleep on the way there, slept on DH's nans bed the whole visit, slept on the way home and then went straight to bed. Today we had to go out the IL's farm to be there if anyone turned up to buy hay (they are away on holidays atm) and do a few jobs around the place. Then did the grocery shopping this arvo which was a nightmare with 2 tired kids! But they are now both in bed sleeping peacefully

Britt- omg that made me so mad reading what that lady said to Crystal. I really do think that half my BFing troubles started when one midwife told me I 'had' to give Layla formula at 2 days old. Looking back I should have refused it but I was too emotional & tired to fight it. I hope things start looking up for her. I found the medication helped HEAPS, although I was on something different.

Lisa- try not to stress about the HPT's. After I had that bleeding at 6 weeks and the scan that showed no heartbeat, I did another HPT and the line was sooooo faint so I assumed it was definately all over and my hcg was dropping. But low and behold a week later there was Layla kicking and rolling around as happy as ever. Maybe stop doing HPT's now and just focus on the BT results

Tina- I hope you manage to get to the shops tomorrow. Perhaps your nesting instinct is kicking in if you suddenly feel the urge to get things organised Have you thought of names yet?

Teal- sounds like both boys are doing really well! Lol about them being taller than you buy age 10, I'm sure it'll be the same with Mason. He will tower over me one day.... but they'll always be our baby boys

Hels- how did your appointment go? I would've loved something like that when we were selling

    How is everyone else going?

We don't have anything much planned tomorrow other than getting on top of the mountain of washing and getting the house clean again. Its amazing how quickly things build up if you don't keep on top of them daily!

Haylie - I'm hearing you about the housework - it's a never ending saga. I hope you're right about the nesting instinct. The problem is I do feel like doing things but I'm so exhausted (esp this week after all of the tooth cr*p and therefore lack of sleep) that I get overwhelmed and end up not doing much. As for the names - we have a boys name sorted and are just about there with the girls name. There are 2 we like that are completely different from eachother that we have had hassles choosing between. I think we've made a decision. I told DH that by next weekend it has to be set in stone.

You are looking great Tina! Such a perfect bump Its so hard deciding on a name isn't it, and in your case you have to come up with one for each sex Layla's name wasn't 100% decided until I was admitted to hospital the night before I had her and even after she was born and the midwife asked what we were naming her, I had to look at DH and check that she was still Layla Hope Good luck, I'm sure you'll settle on the perfect name in time, and if not it won't matter if you decide after the birth
