    Hi there,

Having a good day here so far Went to playgroup for a couple of hours this morning. We came home and Lachlan had lunch and went straight to bed and is still there almost 3hrs later I'm loving it and had 3hrs yesterday too. Cooper is doing great too am working on a feed, play, sleep cycle with him and yesterday he self settled in the bassinette 4 times with no crying, more I just swaddle him, put the dummy in and rock him til his eyes get heavy then put him in and let him do the rest. Has done it twice today too. Just need to start putting him in there at night too, we've been Co-sleeping since day 1

Britt - Cade's a tough little guy. Well done on your bargins this morning and on not spending too much, MCN's are so addictive.

Haylie - 150g a week for Layla is great! I would leave the solids too if in a months time you think she seems hungry then maybe consider it but if she is content I wouldn't. Sorry to hear she is refusing to BF hope so starts again for you. I did get your email the other day thank you, just wanted an opinion before I posted.

Lisa - Hope the blood test comes back in time for you to skip your appointment tomorrow

Teenie - Grr, for the tooth. Not long for bubs now, I'm still thinking PINK.

Just been to the docs and had a BT. They are hoping to rush the results through this arvo given that I have my IVF appointment scheduled for tomorrow. So I'll let you all know how it goes.
Well I am not BF'ing, not PG and won't be driving until later that night so I will definitely celebrate with a nice glass of red

    How did the BT go?

Well the verdict is in and its all true! So cant believe it. Am having repeat bloods next Mon and Thurs to check all is increasing nicely So I got to just call the IVF nurse and my FS to break the good news!

Britt/Hels - You will both have to have a margherita for me then. I'm sure you will make it all work with your feeding arrangements etc . Glad little Cades injections went well. Its so traumatic, I just remember crying more than Sarah whenever she had them done lol. Oh and go the shopping, what a great sale

Teal - Lucky you with a 3 hour nap, maybe a growth spurt?

    Hey girls,

Ugh, having an average night...mostly because Cade wont let me put him down and Im wary of giving him something for the pain because it stains the nappies ...the dog has weed and vomitted in the house, argh.

    Update from Crystal:

    Ezra

"He is doing really well. Had more mucous but its clearing. I am keeping my pain under good control. Feeding is still tough."

She says its in the latching, but they are definitely getting better at it. She says its amazing having him out.

Teal, oh it sounds like you are getting things into a routine, how lovely! Im jealous!

Hels, yay...another one who will have a drink or two!

Lisa, yay yay yay! Hels and I will get you back for all those bottles of wine you had while we were pg and drooling haha...

    Sarah, love.

Ok, off to make a chai and try to unwind...night all!!

    Hiya guys.

I'm feeling bleh. I hate having a cold and having kids to look after. Anyway...

Haylie go Layla with her weight. She's about the same size as Evie. Little girls are lovely! I CAN NOT believe your CHN suggested you try her on solids . Truly I am gobsmacked. You do what you think is best. Sheesh sometimes I wonder about that woman when I hear some of the things she has told you lol.

Tina you getting seriously excited now? Its getting very close for you. I remember when Haylie had Layla I was so excited obviously fir her but also because it meant Britt and I were next! I want maybe to put Mia in ballet. Do you think it's worth finding a good ballet place or just putting her in some other sort of less full on tiny tots dancing group? I don't know. And what do you think I should be asking when I make enquiries about somewhere - like class sizes and stuff? Sorry I am hopeless at this.

Teal I love three hour naps! Mia does one nearly every day. Sometimes its only 2 and a half hours but that's still pretty good! Great effort with Cooper too. The trick now is to get them both to sleep at the same time as each other! That's what I am working on at the moment. Did you ever post how many boy and girl pups you have?

Britt I so thoroughly enjoyed touring your streets today! (I was using google maps to check out all of these places Britt was showing me.) You are wonderful, you know that yeah? ha ha

Hels are you going to take Alex to dinner on the 15th? I can't believe it was 4 months ago that he was born. Gees it has flown by. It feels like yesterday.

Thinking of you Crystal and Ezra!

    Hiya everyone else

Well I think I am going to go take some panadol and fall in a heap on the lounge. I have a couple of new pics actually.

    • Evie in her (my) fave jacket
    • Mia and her best friend
    • This one is for you Haylie - skirts on heads, high heels, dancing, fairy wands - thats what little girls are made of ha ha!
    • I love this one
    Okay nighty night ladies

    Evening lovelies.

Oh, Lisa...your ticker. Gives me goosebumps. I've been thinking about your bt all day - I'm so glad to have finally logged on to hear the excellent news!! There really are no words XX

Just a quick one from me girls - I have had an insane day and should be right now. I went to the specialist and had half of my root canal done. He was the nicest medical practitioner I've met in a long time. I said to my Mum as I left for the appt - if this Dr is abrupt or dismisses my fatigue and emotional state due to dealing with this while being pg I'll just burst into tears. But he was the opposite - just lovely - so understanding. I was nearly crying with relief. Anyway, it's a long story. But the tooth is half done, and right now I have no pain (only in my jaw - from having it open for an hour). He is 99% sure it will be absolutely fine now until I have it finished in 12 weeks. It gives me so much buffer time, and peace of mind that I won't be in agony with it between now and then. Oh, hopefully the saga is nearly over.

So I was there for 2 hours. By the time I got home I only had an hour before leaving for work. Dead face - emotionally exhausted etc. So work was a slog but I got through it. One day to go...

Sarah - on the dancing - ballet is really structured and quite regimented. You know Mia best...but with my own kids I'd be more inclined to go for a tiny tots type class. More freedom to express and just go for it - ballet is the opposite lol. With ballet, little kids either love it or hate it (generally). As for class sizes - most will be quite strict for littlies. I'd try and find somewhere that takes no more than 12. Even 10 if that's possible...Ask about prices, too. Shop around - I know here on the coast prices vary a lot, but this doesn't always reflect on the quality of the tuition. Actually, IMO, some of the most expensive studios around here are not the best at all!!!! Just pretentious lol.

    everyone else.

I'll be back tomorrow for more personals. Must get to bed. It's been an intense week. Off to get blood tests and vaginal swab tomorrow. Yee haa, hey????

    XXXXXX

    Hi girls

Full on day here. We met the fencing guy at our house this morning and talked through what we want. Very glad we are organising it now because they are booked for the next 5 weeks so we are only JUST going to have it up in time to move in. Very excited about the fence I must say Then the kids and I went to a 1st birthday party for one of the mothers group boys. Mason had a ball as the older brother is in his kindy class and they get along really well. After everyone sang Happy Birthday, Mason blew the candle out before the birthday boy could So I've just gotten home, dealing with Mason who is covered in sand but refusing a bath or a nap because all he wants to do is watch wiggly xmas dvd. Thankfully Layla is napping. DH rings me just now and asks me to have both kids bathed, dressed & bag packed by the time he gets home at 6pm because we are going to dinner at his nans place to see his cousin from Brisbane.... the last thing I feel like doing tonight is going out, let alone getting everyone ready. DH said at least it saves us from cooking, but tbh I'd rather stay at home and cook than have the hassle of going out

Sarah- cute pics! Layla has that same purple jumper, its so cute. I have some coloured stripey tights and a pink skirt that match well with it but she hasn't worn it yet. Does Eve have much hair?

Lisa- yay yay yay! I've been wondering how you went with your BT and am pleased it was all good news

Tina- I'm so glad your tooth seems to be ok for now and you won't have to worry about it for awhile. What a drama its been!

Britt- thanks for the update. Please let Crystal know I'm thinking of her and that Ezra is just gorgeous Did you get an ok sleep last night?

Teal- great job on getting Cooper to self-settle!
