Typical male! Well, my typical male!
My partner had conflicting feelings - all puffy chest because something down there must work but disappointed because no more trying. And once pregnant, it was all downhill for him!

Was off the pill for about 1.5 years but I have PCOS so knew I wouldn't get pg naturally and couldn't count days or anything as I wasn't ovulating.

Then took Clomid for a month, didn't happen, decided to not try until this year again, but next month fell pg naturally (probably a residual effect from clomid), so technically second try.

I fell pregnant while still on the pill, not actually trying. We were going to start trying in jan 09, but had our bubs in feb 09! We were very lucky that we fell pregnant naturally and my heart goes out for anyone that has trouble concieving.

Took us nearly 10 months to conceive DS - charting, temps, OPKs, acupuncture, chinese herbs.
This one was a first time lucky.

2 completely normal, healthy people in their 20's here and it took DH and I just over a yr of serious trying (charting, temps, position...you get the picture..)

Some people it just happens others it doesnt so easy!!

    7 months for me.
I did everything right too, was in the healthy weight range, ate very well, didn't drink caffine or alcohol and both my husband and I come from very large families... I don't know why it took so long. But it was well worth the wait!

My first was a total surprise so no idea how long it took to fall with him, but this one took about 8 months of trying. I was starting to think it would never happen.
