Default How long did it take you to conceive your first baby?

Just interested to know how long it took you to conceive your first baby.
Everyone I know has conceived the first month of trying. I find that amazing, and I almost don't believe them!

Yep... me too. First month of the pill and not actually trying, just seeing what might happen! We didn't expect it to be that quick.

I made a snap decision I wanted a baby on 1 December and was pregnant by Christmas.

I was amazed. Thought it would take at least six months.

So, yeah, those one-month stories are true!

first month here too, utter shock though!
wern't 'trying', but werent 'preventing' either, thought we'd just see what happened.

for every person i know that got it in the first mont, i know others that havebeen trying for years
its so hard to know which basket you will fall in...
(we'd expected it to take 12+months after talking to doc)

Two months. Although DH will tell you that the pill was still in my system the first month. Cause I tease him that his swimmers didn't work the first month

About 8 months for our first (actively trying, but not counting days or anything like that).

First time lucky this time around.
