WOHOO for the scan Jess! I bet it must be worrying for the SUA. I do hope it doesn't complicate things too much.

Kitz- not too much damage. Just a blocked drain at the top of the house meant that we had water coming through a wall to our downstairs area.between the dustpan, mop and bucket I think it's all good now. My big issue is waiting for my sneakers to dry though
Good luck and strength coming your way for sat.

Cave jess! Do it! Find out I wanna know

Best of luck for tomorrow's scan Kitz can't wait to hear how it goes

Jess - we found out the gender and it was just as well because I was convinced I was having a girl would have hated to have that moment of bewilderment at baby's birth "what do you mean it's a BOY???"

I think it would be lovely to wait and find out at birth but I'm just not that patient. Also, it has made it soooo much easier to buy clothes and do the nursery etc. I have had friends who found out early say that there is so much excitement at the birth anyway and so much joy at finding out what bub looks like etc that you never miss the "it's a .... " moment for a second.

Convinced??? I wanna know what your having too!

    hi everyone...

good luck tomorrow kitz for your scan - looking forward to hearing your fantastic news - are you finding out the sex?

bambi - i agree, i found out when i was preg with E that i was having a boy and while in labour all i concentrated on was the fact of seeing my lil man any min and wondering what he would look like. I never once missed the "its a...." even tho they said it anyway lol but all i wanted to do was to lay my eyes on him.

Nic - hope the painting is going well.

Jess - glad to hear your feeling more positive about things.

AFM - DH had a RDO from work today and we went over to my sisters place. We had a lovely day out with my sis and BIL and went out for lunch aswell. I bought a lovely photo frame with a gorgeous poem about 'daughter' and a cute ceramic pig money box today.
I have finally finished off my knitted bunny rug. It turned out really well actually and its quite a decent size. I have now made 4 spew/burp cloths and ive got another 4 to go. Im heading into spotlight tomorrow to get some more fabric for them and some more wool. Im currently knitting up some booties and when im finished a couple of pairs of them i will try out doing up a beanie for bub. DH has gone out tonight to the motorcross - crusty demons - so its just a quite night in with myself and DS - meet the fockers in on later so i will sit down and watch that with my block of fruit n nut and cuppa lol. Have a great weekend everyone.

Kitz - good luck today with your scan.... can't wait for your results... let us know and then you can give back that doppler. How long does it take to get one this is driving me nuts...??!!!

I'm with Bambi too Jess, we needed to know as we were convinced bub was a boy so it was weird when the sonogropher said girl..we were like..hmmm ok that's good OMG where's our boy aaagghhhh. But now we know, we are thrilled with a girl and would flip if she was born a boy...

MrsShe - you got a bugaboo pram didn't you??? I saw a couple in toorak yesterday with a red one and I think I need to get one.

bosco - yeah we got the bugaboo, a charcoal base with pink fleece topping. I love it so much I push it around the house all the time lol

We went out to the shops today. I bought bub some cute lil tops from cotton on kids, one of them says "mummy and i think that daddy is the best" i just had to get it - its so cute. They also had other 'attitude' type tops aswell but some of the things that was printed on them was little to be desired I cant believe the things the write on baby's clothing...
I also bought a cute lil pair of bonds tights - so cute. I got a few iron on motifs aswell to dress up the plain white bonds wondersuits i have.

Not too much happening today - DH and DS are playing the wii - they bought a toy army game so they are playing that atm. TOnight we are heading out to dinner for both my nephews bdays - one was yday and one is tomorrow.

Anyway i hope everyone is enjoying there weekend. Take care

Oh kitz - how did you go at your scan?

    Hi Girls,

MrsShe - you have been a busy girl! The outfits sound so beautiful! Just curious - how was your block of fruit and nut last night? lol

Bambi, Izy and Boscosmum - in all honesty I may have an idea about the sex - but a little suspicious a family member may be stalking me on here (Hello if YOU are reading this!) So you will have to PM me if you want to find out more!!! We were never going to find out but if we end up knowing then we don't even want people to know that we know IYKWIM? I've been so detached from bub as I was so afraid of losing it - but now I want to know all I can to get to know him/ her better - blabbing now!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

    to us all

    Hi Girls,

Sorry I have not posted for a while, just busy.

I am been very emotional lately, over nothing in particular, and I think everything has caught up with me a bit - the amount of work at work and home we need to do before bubs is born, my low iron levels and having more trouble sleeping. I also have realised I am doing too much which is not helping, so I think I have to relax a little more. I went for a lovely preggos massage this week, which really helped and we picked up our pram and capsule which DH assembled, so that is exciting!

Is anyone else finding it hard to adjust to the fact they just can not do as much anymore?

Also, starting to think about the birth more and starting our calmbirth class tomorrow, so that should be good.

I hope you all have a lovely day, it is pouring with rain at the moment here, and DH is having a nap before he starts work tonight, so I might have to go and have a snuggle with him
