Yep I know the feeling- we are using our funding for the ASPECT building blocks program but I don't know if we have made the right call. No idea. It's all too much

Must be in the air: Sophie was a total grouch today too. I think she had a bad night last night as she just wasn't herself.

I'm getting worried as she's picking up new fears and new autistic behaviours. I'll have to call our program supervisor as she's started avoiding eye contact and she never really did that before. It's very frustrating having her picking up new behaviours as we're eliminating the old ones: it seems we'll never catch up!

The only thing going well here right now is the weight loss and kickboxing. My teacher actually complimented one of my kicks - he's never done that before! I nearly fell over, and for once it wasn't because I was overbalanced. I have lost another 0.5 kilogram since last week so am ever closer to my goal

I hope you're all well. Nadia's been a bit under the weather - maybe that's Sophie's problem too!

I'll try to post tomorrow. I can't believe it's nearly the weekend again.

    Sarah

    Hi all...I'm back!!!
Sorry about no contact while I was in Sydney, but Craig's computer just wouldn't bring up the pages for me...stupid prepaid broadband!
Anyway, there is way too much for personals, and after my drive home today with the feral's on my own, I am stuffed!! Hanging out for .
Just thought I would let you all know I am here, still alive and so are the kids, lol.
Will check in properly soon, promise.

Glad your home safe and sound!

Hopefully the sickies dont last and dont get shared around!

Matilda's sleep has been horrid since she was sick . . it always happens .. . and daylight savings has made her wake up time more like 5 - 5.30 . . not good for a mummy who has insomnia!!

We got some good news this afternoon . . our speech assessment was changed last week to may as Matilda was sick . . but we got a call about a cancellation so we are having it next thursday!!

    Hi Ladies
I love the post about the million dollars! Can I join that one. Promise I will share. I just want enough to pay off the house.
Kylie I am glad to hear you all came back safe and well. Hope you had a good time.
KaM My DD has been shocking with her sleep aswell. It is driving me nuts. Hope to get her into a better sleep pattern.
Mummy2Sophie Glad to hear the kick boxing is helping you. and congrats on getting closer to your goal weight.
Naomis mum I think we all felt the same way about all the info we are given and then we find out alot we were not given. I hope things get easier for you soon.
Sara I can't believe there is a thread called that and there are people with "normal" children complaining!!!!!! What have they got to complain about.?????? Sara I think you are over worrying about Hannah I know I do look at Emily and wonder about her some days but the Paed said we have nothing to worry about she is just a normal 3yr old. She was doing much the same (and still doing) what Hannah was doing. She was even lining things up in colours just like Peter did and he said to move one of them and see her reaction and she laughed and said silly mummy not right. So not too worried. I only asked the Paed as I had no normal to compare her with. I asked at Peters last appt. See your paed and ask and see what they say. But I hope it is the same as me and that you worried about nothing.
Well Ladies had my check up and have high blood pressure. I am doing a 24hr monitoring in 2 weeks. Not looking forward to that. I am worried about having to take medicine to control it. I have been told to not strain myself as this will put up my pressure so I am not surposed to pick up My kids and I can't go to gym to do my personal training until I have the test done. I am only to do a slow to med walk on the tredmill and only till I feel puffed as I can cause lots of damage to my blood vessels. I am so worried that I won't get my pressure down. I am trying to ignore all the things the kids are doing and am trying to destress a little and not worry so much about the little things as I am very bad for that. But on the good side Peter has been fantastic!!!!! He is so wonderful and helpful and is so cuddly and loving. This medication is great so far. I hope we continue to see great results. Well Peter has just asked If I can go and help him out so I need to go. Also before I forget He is now in a double bed and loves it.! Lets see if he stays in it. Talk soon. Keep smiling and take care. Letitia.

    Hi girls,

Can I ask you a question??

When you were choosing who to go to for help (as in which speech therapist etc)... did you take into account your own level of comfort and trust in the specialist or just your childs???
