    ahhh, no.

Just as I have no desire to see what nature has never intended to be seen, well at least not by me.

The Dr offered for me to see my gall bladder, and the video of my gastrophogy - I declined - no interest.

The ONLY thing I've ever checked out was the tear and stitches that DS inflicted upon me - and that was only to trim the long ends the Dr left (oww itchy yow wa)

When i was studying nursing we watched this amazingly 80's video on preforming pap smears... and YES, it did suggest you ask the woman if she would like to see her cervix with a hand held mirror...

    errr... personally, no thanks

It doesn't embarrass me because it's my cervix, but I wouldn't want to look. I know the anatomy and how everything works and what it looks like, but I'm not terribly keen on seeing my internal organs, thanks very much.

My husband is a doctor as well and he's always looking at videos and things that just make me want to puke. The weird thing is, though, he had surgery last year and the surgeon took some video of it for my husband during the surgery. When he saw the video, he felt more than a tad pukey, so there you go... maybe it's just a personal thing with your own organs!

So, no. Not keen on seeing my cervix. When I was giving birth and was asked if I wanted to see my kids heads crowning (both times), I said no and no-one could believe I didn't want to see! Seriously, though, there are some things that are better off left to the imagination!

I have only seen ultrasound of my cervix, showing the miraculous cervical stitch (cercalge) that kept my bub safe inside me, and what a great job it was doing... (At one point it was the only thing keeping her in!)
I would definitely liked to have seen my cervix with the stitch in it before they took the stitch out...
I don't know that I would have wanted to see my cervix If I didn't have an "incompetent cervix" though, I mean, I don't know that I'd care enough about my cervix if it wasn't broken!!

    I would.
I havent seen mine, had no idea what they looked like, felt like, or any of that.
Recently I was sent a link to a medical (not porn) site that had photos of a woman's cervix each day for a month. It was so interesting and definatly helped me to understand how I work.
That said, now I know, I dont need to see again.
