My DP is a Doctor. He was telling me when they learned how to do speculum examinations and Pap smears they were also told by the female "models" that they should always offer their patient a chance to see their cervix
In over 10 years of being a Doctor he has never asked this.
If you were asked by your Doctor would you want to see
I for one and I told DP this that I couldn't care less what it looks like and if I was asked I would go bright redand say "Not a chance in hell"
P.S Poll to come when I work out how to do it![]()

Ahhhh a mirror... Yes.. Now why didn't I think of that
Taking the question more seriously.. I'd probably think it was a bit bizarre if I dr asked me out of the blue if I'd like to see my cervix... I don't know, I've only ever had 1.. I wonder if anyones ever actually been ask, or if all dr's strike that off their list of things to do once they're finished learning
Hmm.. I actually don't think a poll can be edited once it's been posted, but I'll look into it..

I've changed the title of the poll for you.
I'd actually be interested to see, but would probably be too embarrassed to say yes!! lol I'm just like get it done, and get the flip out of there!!

Our OB was MASSIVE on "getting to know yourself" and I def had a good look.. he was mega shocked that I'd been checking it for ages through TTC. Had a Great idea of what if "felt" like before Preg and was Mega interesting to feel it change.
Helpful, not so much, otherwise I would have figured out I was in full blown labour "way" earlier
So YES, been asked and YES had a good perv. was quite cute!! could not fathom the role it has to keep preg safe! It's so unassuming for such a MASSIVE role.

Sure would
I would love to see all of my body parts and how they work, why not? I think it all becomes less eww and scary when you know all about it.
