Default Bolt - the movie - anyone seen it, would you recommend it for a 5 year old?

    Hi there

Has anyone seen the movie Bolt?

Would you recommend it for a 5 year old?

Am considering taking DD tomorrow, but I see on the Birch Carroll and Coyle website that they say the movie has "scary scenes".

DD is quite easily frightened. Is it what you wouls call really scary and therefore maybe not appropriate for a 5 year old, or pretty mild?

    Thanks!

I've seen it a few weeks ago, I think when it started at the movies, with my 4 year old. I don't think there were any scary scenes in it either. My 4 year old loved it.

We took our 3-year-old to see it. It wasn't really scary but she did tell us there was a 'bad orange scene' (with the fire near the end) and a 'bad man'. She wasn't scared at all though, she just shakes her head in a disapproving manner

My two year old and four year old loved it.

There's a scene where the "bad man take bolt" (my two year olds description!) but it's not really scary - my little fella commented on it but it didn't "scare" him.

I think they're pretty cautious with kids movie classifications

    Go, she'll love it.

DH took our 3.5 year old son and he loved it! He too has an active imagination and we have to be really careful, but he loved it and wants to see it again!
