    Default Mirena help

Is there anything i can ask my doctor to do to stop the constant bleeding i'm having since having the mirena inserted. I'm having a light to medium period. I think it's been about 5 weeks ago i had it done. I'm seeing my doc on wednesday.

I think light to medium bleeding for a little while is pretty normal.

I had it for about 3 or 4 weeks afterwards.

    I then had a period about 2 weeks later ... for another 7 - 10 days ....

It has got lighter and further apart since then.

After 6 months I got very light spotting for 3 - 5 days about 6 weeks ago, and havent had anything since.

Make sure he does and u/s to check its int he right spot though ....

I bled constantly for 3 months with my Mirena and had it removed.
I would talk to GP about it. Maybe its not for you

I'm thinking of having it removed, i am really over having a period all the time. I have read on other threads that the bleeding eventually stopped but i feel really low on energy.
Being the school holidays i need all the energy i can get .
