I wore underwire bra's throughout both of my pregnancy's, and had no issue's with breastfeeding or my milk coming in at all.

I think as long as the underwire bra is comfortable and not digging in anywhere, there isn't anything to worry about.

I have only just heard this today from a good friend, my only question is I still haven't found a maternity bra that fits me properly, and the only bras I can fit and feel comfortable in are my underwire bras. Is it ok for me too continue to wear my normal bras increasing in size until i can fit properly into a maternity bra that i feel comfortable enough in? All help and advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I was told the same thing, i didnt like wearing the maternity bras early on as i thought they didnt make anything "look good". The best investment i ever made was the maternity singlets, especially in summer they even feel lighter and like less clothing than a bra and tank.

    comfy comfy

Whoah old thread here lol I don't like underwires as my boobs are sooo sore during pg but I do agree with an earlier comment (a 3 year ago comment :P) that maternity bras without wire most certainly aren't as supportive, particularly when you have big ta ta's lol

Try Bonds Bumps maternity bra. It is just like a T-shirt bra and is very comfortable.
I bought a couple of these the other day, so comfortable!! Surprisingly supportive as well given there aren't any underwires.

I bought mat bras when I was 8 weeks preg cause my boobs were soooo sore. I wore them for 6 weeks straight but now I've gone back to my underwire bras for support for my growing boobs.

To each their own but I wear what is comfortable on any given day

I wore underwire bras all through my first pregnancy. I'm now 17 weeks, breastfeeding my 18 month old, and still wearing them
