I think it tastes less like chemicals and more like water.

    I like it.

Yeah, it tastes earthy, it's from the rain and storms, they're trying to dilute it with cleaner water...

I thought our filter had broken - I was just saying to DP that the water tasted horrid. I think I'll be buying bottled water until its nicer, it's really hard to drink.

Anyhow, we're on tank water here.. I'll have to pay attention if I go anywhere with town water this week

It has been since the day they added the fluoride here. I filter my water but the fluoride taste wont go away. We buy fluoride free water now, it is SOOO yummy.
they haven't added fluoride where you are yet. they have only done South East Queensland - Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Redlands, Moreton Bay, Ipswich and Logan so far. You should have it by the end of this year though.

I like the fluoridated water in the Eastern states much more than I liked the water in Hervey Bay when the tanks got low. Now that was yucky!!

That's right The program won't reach northern QLD for a little while yet.

I think the change in taste of our water at the moment is more to do with the afore mentioned storm water etc than the addition of fluride.

In the concentrations that it's being added to our water (less than 1 part per million) I don't think it will be noticeable anyway.

You wouldn't notice 2.5L of cordial mixed into an olympic sized pool

Oh that's really good to hear. I am in central QLD, but for about a month the water, even filtered water taste's really gross. Everyone here has noticed it, we all just thought it was fluoride, but I am pleased it is not that.
