I have a 4 cylinder toyota corolla, I love it $40-50 to fill it and I get just over 500ks.

I did have a vl commodore that I really do miss, but it was costing me $70 to fill it and I was doing that twice a week so there was no way I could afford that now.

We have a ford focus , 4 clinder
    don't think it's necesary to have v6 or v8 if u have a sedan
but we will end up needing a 4x4 by bub 3 as you can't fit in one car seat really in cars these days
but when we get a larger car I'll be getting diesel
