City Fertility Centre - Costs

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are looking to start IVF with ICSI, we have recently had our first appointment with Dr Andrew Davidson, who we really liked, and in the next few months I think we will start with City Fertility Centre. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas of the costs there? We have another appt in a few weeks but I'm excited and want to start planning!!

Hi hunnybunny, I attend CFC in Melbourne. Their rates depend on what you need. A full stim cycle with ICSI and all is about $7200 plus hospital -$1400-, dr fees - about $800- , anaesthetic -about $400- . With extras I have had cycles up as high as $12K outgoing.

Medicare gives me between $5-8K back after a couple of weeks.

FET cycle is about $1200 - $1800. Not sure how much of that I 'll get back.

I have my first appointment with Dr Davidson next week - so I am pleased to hear you liked him. I've been asking around trying to find out what other people think of Gold Coast City Fertility - in terms of their level of expertise etc etc. Did you find anything out before you chose them?

We did a bit of research, our location was a big factor in who we chose because we are out in Nimbin, City Fertility just seemed pretty good to us. Good luck with your appointment, Dr Davidson was great for us!
