Although my 2yo and 4yo daughters aren't officially school age, we are homeschooling them. DD1 is going to kindy this year (pre-prep) but we will be starting homeschooling too, as she is a very keen natural learner. Very exciting!!

We're doing home pre school this year more seriously, 5 days a week for 4yo DD and more casually for 2yo DS. We're loving it! I just love being there when she learns new things

Hi homeschoolers. I am considering homeschooling my 5yo DS. Ever since starting school he has regressed in almost every asect of his development. I have a few worries though:
    • costs
    • ability to access school government services such as speech pathologist, dentist etc.
    • do you work? This is the biggest problem for me as otherwise we just won't have money
    • how do you socialise your children? do you have regular meet ups? do they have extra curricular activies? etc.
    • is it possible to homeschool part-time and send to school part-time?
I'm looking forward hearing your replies.

I home educate my 12 yo and my 9 yo. My 5 yo has decided to try traditional schooling and is now at the local primary school. The other two children have no interest in going back to a formal school environment.

    I'm home schooling...

My son is 6 ( 7 in July) he did a year of prep but wanted to be homeschooled... My youngest son is almost 2 and I'm hoping to homeschool him too.. My girls are in school part time and homeschooled too ( they are in a co- op school for homeschoolers)..
    I'm in The Basin.
