Question Do you suffer from incontinence?

I am just curious how many people suffer from incontinence. Its never spoken about and i think it should be easier for women to talk about it.

I have annon poll coming for anyone who wants to stay annon

After having a traumatic birth with my DD (1st child) I have since suffered with stress incontinence i.e. sneezing, coughing. Its not as bad as it was and would probably be even better if I did my PFE more often.

No I don't have either but after the birth I had mild bladder weakness for quite a while and also in late pregnancy, but thankfully nothing ongoing.

I know it is very common though and I agree we should be able to discuss it more openly as women.

It's nothing to be ashamed of given how common it is and because it is so upsetting for the women involved we need offer more support and understanding.

I did have bad bladder incontinence but just over 3 months ago I had a front/back repair and it's all good now

I can sneeze freezly now with no consequence, best thing I ever did (have had other medical issues since but nothing to do with that)

well i have bowel. Its embarrassing, but im learning to come to terms with it. I sometimes have bladder but very rarely, only if im jumping around like a twit or spewing my guts up but otherwise im ok in that department. Its amazing once you open up that you suffer incontinence to people, they also come forward and discuss there problems.

I think we need to normalise it so people can get the proper support and care that they need! It is very common, but people just don't like talking about it

I was so lucky that I only had incontinence the day that my son was born. I peed as I was getting in the shower and had no idea it was coming. I was so glad that it was only that one day!

I had really bad fishers (sp?) in my backside after having DS and the doctor wanted me to have a procedure done but as soon as he mentioned the word "incontinence" I said hell no

I have stress incontinence too, which would be greatly improved if I did my exercises more often.
