    Default follow on to the post ''would u''

    my friend didnt listen she gave phenergon to her son he did not wake for 14 hours she rang a doc an they told her to take him to emergency he still did not wake. they moneted him an he woke 26 hours after the drug was given she is being investigated. she now regrets it.

    We do things we shouldn't always do when we are sleep deprived and extreamly stressed!

    If you had said she didn't regret what she did i would have been a bit worried!

    Hugs to your friend, I am glad that nothing serious happened to her bubs and hope she has learnt a huge lesson from this mistake!

    i am glad that bubs is ok
    was she told not to give it? we all make mistakes as parents as we all hear so much conflicting advice yes to this no to that etc but in the end it reflects badly on us unfortunately when most of the time we are trying to do whats right

    she had a friend that was a farmesist an he gave it to her apparently you can get it on prescription

    No its not illegal.

    How old was the child she gave it too?

    I gave phenergan to my son but not to make him tired. It was for travel.
    He was over 3 and ges car sick and we had to drive for a while. He used to come up in welts from driving too long? go figure.

    He didnt sleep on it though.

    If she gave the recommended dose, then i feel sorry for her as she must have been shocked. If she made up the dose or gave it to a , younger then recommended, child then I would hope she has learned a VERY valuable lesson.

    When is phenargon illegal? i have used it about hmm 4 times havent used it for about 2 years though but when did they bring this in? i got it over the counter

    The pharmisit should be under investigation. Poor bub and friend. Hope everything turns out well for your friend and friends bub. What a scary situation to be in.
