Default When do we enjoy our baby?

Hi there everyone. Mt DD is 15 months old. From the day she was born we've been going through medical crisis! She's had heart and airways surgery, had athsma eczema, sleep aponea, nasal regurgitation, aspiration, development delays...
And NOW, drs tell me she'll need bowel surgery. I just feel so sad. When do we get to play happy families and just smile and laugh with her? How much does 1 little person have to go through! I feel so alone as we live in a small town and this sort of stuff just doesn't happen to other people here. I'm just sad.

Wow... you and your little one really have been through a lot... I guess in answer to your question, is you enjoy your little bubba now... It might not all be smiles and laughs, but maybe take what you can get, live in the moment with your bubba, enjoy the here and now.

I am sorry I am not better with kind words, I really feel for you, I just find it hard to express.

Hi there Ali (thats your name??)

I know what you mean. We do enjoy her... but theres always the 'but'. I think we need to work on getting rid of that from our minds! I know we are so lucky to have her. Really, really lucky. As I type little miss is in hospital. She'll be there for 3 days. Daddy's giving me a break for a while. I'm so lucky to have them both.
    Anyways, thanks for replying.

Hi Lexi, it must be hard to not think of the but's. I really feel for you, I cant imagine how hard it must be to see your baby in pain. One day this will all be the past. Hope she recovers well from this surgery!! Stay strong
