    MummaDJ,

I havent officially had that problem but,

after my m/c I asked my OB what we could do differently next time round. He said nothing at first, and then he said, actually what we might do is give you daily progesterone from 8 - 12 weeks. I have no idea if this is what you mean but i am curious as to what this is all about etc.

    Watching this thread carefully..

I'm not pregnant yet but yeah I need progesterone supplements up until around 12 weeks to help avoid m/c again since thats when the placenta should be producing enough progesterone to sustain the pregnancy on its own.

aahh, so we are talkign about the same thing then.... good.. hopefully someone with some experience can help us out.

I did not have any testing or anything but Ob just said it might be worth a try. I have heard or maybe read that you can only take the supplement if you are low in progesterone.. i am confused as he wouldnt know if that was the case... hmm so do i get it anyway? Gosh i have no idea...lol He just said that its a bit pricey and then said would be every day from 8 - 12 weeks aprox a dollar a day... Hubby laughed out loud.. he said.. what a whole month of $1 a day.. gosh thats a small price to pay.... lets do it.. BUT WE CANT GET RE-PREGNANT to try..lol

I had low hormone levels according to my GP in my last preg. Anyway he said nothing but my naturopath has put me on drops which are supposed to stimulate progesterone which she calls "anti-miscarriage drops". Don't know if they are helping, but I am taking them religiously!

Hi Brasha, they are oral drops to stick under my tongue.
My naturopath is $60 for an hour and the drops were $10. Whereabouts are you Brasha?
