  • What to do with cream?

    I have soo much cream its not funny, but no idea what to do with it?
    I was thinking a sponge cake and use the cream as a filling, but I dont have the ingredients for a sponge.

      What kind of cream? If its thickened maybe make a nice carbonara or bosciaola. Lots of desserts you can make too!

        My oven kills my scones. That's why I have so much cream, coz I attempted scones the other day and my oven killed them I'm not game enough to try again.

                  Pasta sauce
                  Pikelets with jam and cream
                  A regular cake with a cream icing - whipped cream, sugar and cocoa...

                    I make chicken pastries? Doesn't use heaps but would use a bit and yummmmy.

                    Chicken boob, peas, corn

                    Make sauce from dijon mustard & cream

                    Mix together & place into puff pastry yum yum

                    Can also use the sauce for anything else really

                      cream doesn't freeze well so dishes with cream I dunno about that long term IYKWIM?

                      but yeh icecream/parfait could work.

                      butter will last longer then cream so its an option if its that or throw it out.

                        I'll think of something I already have about a weeks worth of dinners organized so looking for desserts/treats mostly
                        I can use some in mash tonight instead of milk though??

                              Buy some chocolate ripple biscuit whip the cream with abit of vanilla essence and sandwich the biscuits together with the cream forming a log and save some cream once all the biscuits are done and smooth cream around the biscuits let it sit in the fridge for a few hours until the biscuit is softened a hit in my house
