  • Mouth breathing - even after surgery.

    Hi all,
My 9 year old breathes through his mouth.
In late 2019 he had his tonsils and adenoids removed but it still hasn’t helped.
Anyone with similar children? Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

My 11yo DD hasn’t had her adenoids out and will require surgery when she’s older for I think a deviated septum.

In the meantime she was told to do nasal irrigation every night and nasonex spray every night. She improved so much. She has started refusing to do it and it’s a nightmare - I can hear her huffing and puffing and panting all the time. But it worked when she did it.
