I’m from Melbourne and planning to go to Gold Coast in early November 2021. Apparently the pan pacific master games will be on. Does that mean it will be busier? Should we wait until it’s over? Thanks

I’d wait until it’s over personally as it will no doubt be super busy.

Last time that was on I don't remember it being much busier than normal, it isn't school holidays yet at that point.
I think visiting at that point would be fine.
