Physiotherapists are health professionals trained to diagnose, safely treat and prevent muscular and joint pains within the body. When you are pregnant, and in the months immediately after giving birth, strain can be placed on the body, which can result in lower back pain, pelvic pain and other conditions.
If you do experience these symptoms, it is best to seek the advice of a health care professional who is specifically trained and experienced in dealing with pregnant and post-natal patients. Trained physiotherapists can offer treatment and practical advice for preventing or minimising reaccurence.
