The intelligent serum instantly re-densifies hair and leaves it feeling fuller and thicker thanks to its unique formula combination of thickness-boosting ingredients by L'Oréal Advanced Research.
The older i am getting the thinner my hair is becoming, lets not forget post pregnancy hair loss. I found that a iittle of the product goes a long way and lathered well, it also left my hair feeling squeeky clean and feeling fuller in the first week.
The product definitely delivers what it promises as my hair did feel fuller however having dry skin left my head feeling really dry the longer i used it (at my hairline)
I also loved the minty smell
After a c-section and another non-related surgery within 12 months of each other, my body, hair, skin and nails were feeling depleted. There are foods you can eat and things you can do to help most of it. And mostly, it worked, but I could never get my hair to thicken up. I ended up cutting my locks, which helped my emotional pain. Then I was accepted in the Serioxyl Thicker Hair Serum trial with Bub Hub. And the results - so far, so good.
I can't complain. I don't have more hair, but when I look in the mirror, it looks like I have more volume. If I can visually see that, it makes me feel better. It's kind of like when you wear a nice shirt or outfit - you might feel "blah" inside, but if people complement you, you feel good. It's like, fake it until you make it.
That's exactly what Serioxyl is doing for me.
I have lots of new growth around my hairline, so can't wait for that to join the rest of my locks!
I found the Serioxyl Thicker Hair Serum to have quick results as promised, my hairline appeared fuller after two applications.
The product is simple and easy to use, applying to wet hair after washing is something I loved as it was not time consuming and didn't require me to blow dry my hair beforehand and fit in well with my routine.
Serioxyl Thicker Hair Serum smells lovely, and spread through my hair nicely, it also doesn't leave any sticky residue on your hair or hands.
The glass bottle also looks great and really stands out against the standard plastic bottles on my shelf.
Unfortunately while I was very impressed with the fast results I had an allergic reaction and couldn't continue to use the Serum.
I would absolutely reccomend to anyone suffering from thinning hair, give Serioxyl Thicker Hair Serum a try!
In a bid to improve my hair after major post partum hair loss I have been trialling this product. I find this product makes my hair feel denser but also feels full of product. The product feels quite heavy on my otherwise fine hair. Using it every second wash has helped with this.
I have been using the serum for about a month. i'm not sure it's made a huge difference but my hair does feel thinker. I haven't had any problem using the serum and it doesn't make my hair feel "tacky" which thickening formulas often do for me. I also colour my hair regularly and haven't found any problems using the serum with colour.
If I sound equivocal it's because I'm not entirely sure it's worked alone. I've been using the other components of the system and definitely feel that overall my hair is thicker. It's also pretty easy to use which is a plus.
I have really fine hair which is always a nightmare to deal with, it's either flat and lacking in volume or frizzy and fluffy. So I was really excited to try this product.
PROS: Nice fresh smell, doesn't have that thick, heavy oily consistancy many thin hair products do so the hair doesn't feel weighed down. I did notice a difference and my hair had more oomphh and volume so I was pleased.
CONS: If you have long hair, which many women do, you need 3+ pumps to do the product justice. My hair is half way between my bra strap and bottom and I needed 4 to 5. As such the bottle doesn't last long and there is no way 2 bottles of this would even come close to lasting 3 months unless you were a man with short hair.
I have used the Thicker Hair Serum for about a month and have noticed that my hair appears slightly thicker however there is not a significant difference. I have noticed that my hair is not falling out as much and also doesn't get as many knots and breakage. I have found that my hair feels very dry and my hairdresser also commented that my hair is very dry at the moment. My hair is naturally wavy and I have found that the serum weighs my hair down and causes the hair to stick togeter in clumps particularly noticeable after my hair gets wet and then air drys.
I have been using the L'Oreal Serioxyl Thicker Hair Serum for around a month as part of an overall hair care system. The serum is applied to wet hair after it has been shampood and conditioned. As it is part of a 4 step process it is difficulty to say exactly which results are from this product specifically but I shall do my best to review.
This product is nicely packaged and has a very professional feel to it.
This product is easy to use - it is a simple pump pack, and the serum is massaged through from roots to tips on wet hair. The instructions do not specify how many 'pumps' to use and as it is applied to wet hair I'm not always sure if I have used enough/too much.
The product has no offensive smells and although it works by building up a coating on the hair my hair itself doesn't feel overly weighed down with product.
It can be a time consuming process with so many steps involved but they all work to enhance each other. I do feel there is an improvement in the appeareance of my hair - I have certainly had less breakages and hair loss since starting and I feel the volume is improving. My hair is looking healthy and shiny. I have an appointment with my hairdresser next week who always comments on my whispy fine hair so it will be intersting to see if she observes a difference.
I look forward to continuing this trial and the products involved.
It works ... this product makes your hair feel much bulkier and fuller after applying a small amount. I definitely wouldn't want to wear it everyday as it makes me feel the need to wash my hair at the end of a day of wearing it. Think of it like hairspray combined with dry shampoo and multiply that by 2 and you're getting close to how this feels in your hair and on your scalp. It's great for when you want 'big' hair, but for me it's not for every day use. I do find the scent a big overpowering also but I guess that's a small price to pay for big hair!
It was with much excitement and anticipation that I awaited my delivery of the L'Oreal Professional Serioxyl Hair Care System.
Over the last 2 years I have lost almost 70% volume (thickness) of my hair due to hormonal reasons.
The first was my pregnancy with my DD that caused hair loss instead of the usual increased hair growth that most women experience. The second cause of my hair loss/thinning was due to the rapid weight loss I experienced in a relatively short space of time.
Both of these 'Hormonal Hurricanes" took their toll on my hair unfortunately, so it seemed like serendipity when I was chosen as a reviewer!!!!
The first product I got out of its box and into my hot little hands to review was the Serioxyl Thicker Hair Serum.
This serum is for thin and/or fine hair and is designed to instantly re-densify the hair leaving it feeling fuller and thicker due to the formula combination of:
INTRA-CYLANE: A thickening molecule born of several years research which penetrates deep into the hair fibre to create a 3D network. Its 3D hair-bolstering action leaves the hair firm and thick.
INCELL : This works by filling in cuticle cell gaps, strengthening the cohesion of fibres and enhancing hydrophobic properties and robustness, making detangling easier.
PRO-KERATIN: A well-known hair affinity component which adds remarkable substance and vitality to the hair fibre for a "refilled" effect, leaving the hair visibibly fuller.
For the last few weeks I've applied a few pumps of the serum to the lengths and ends of my towel dried hair as directed and then dried and styled as usual (you can either leave your hair to dry naturally or blowdry).
I really liked the fresh, fruity scent of the product and the way it was quickly absorbed into my hair leaving no greasy residue.
I must admit I was skeptical of the claim that it could/would leave my hair feeling/looking thicker "instantly", but I have to admit that after using the product for these last few weeks, I most defintely have noticed a difference in the look and feel of my hair!!!
I wouldn't say it happened "instantly" from the first time I used the product, but I will say I noticed a change within a week or so of using the product and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!!!!
My hair definitely feels thicker and looks a bit more fuller than normal as well as appearing more bouncy and having more body to it.
Being in the Professional range, this product is priced at the higher end of the market, but as you don't need a lot of it, it's something where a little does go a long way so a bottle should last for up to a couple of months.
I have longer hair, but if you're someone with shorter hair, then a bottle may last you even longer.
I'm more than happy to keep using it while my hair recovers and regrows and it's a product I'd recommend to others who have or are suffering hair loss/thinning due to hormonal reasons like myself as it's really worth giving a try.
I have been using the Serioxyl thicker hair Serum daily for 3 weeks. I love the smell of this product and I really like the fact that it does not weigh my hair down or leave a greasy texture.
I find that if I use this product along with the Serioxyl thickening mousse, and then blow dry and straighten, my hair does appear fuller.
If I apply the thicker hair serum and leave to dry naturally, the texture of my hair feels 'fluffier' than normal. I don't really love this texture, so I would probably only use the product on the days where I style my hair.
Overall, this product on its own I don't feel has made any dramatic change in the fullness of my hair. I do however like this product and feel it gives me best results if I use it and then style.
