I bought this pram after a friend of mine highly recommended it, and I have to say, she has never been more right about anything!
I must admit I read some bad reviews, but I'm glad they didn't deter me. Plus, with the new 2012 model, most of the problems others have encountered I think have been fixed.
One of the best things about the Surf is that it includes everything you need in the one package. You don't have to buy any extras, like the bumper bars, raincover, sunshade etc. it's all there! The suspension is amazing on tough terrain and it fits in the boot of my Mini. (it's a tight squeeze but it does fit!) Which is great. The babynest is all that you need from birth as it lies completely flat, and my son has always been comfortable and we haven't had any problems. I have a girl on the way, and am excited to buy another 'Essential Pack' in Pink for her to enjoy. It's so cool you can change the colours. The storage space lacks a little, but that's a minor detail for me, as the safety and comfort of my child definitely comes first.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this pram, so glad I chose it.
I am really loving this pram. I bought it because it is really light and easy to fold but now that I am using it I am loving the baby nest and how easy it is to steer. I can literally steer it one handed and still hold my preschoolers hand at the sametime! The baby nest makes the need for a bassinette like some of the competitors have unneccessary.
My only negatives so far is that the choice of colours in Australia is really pathetic compared to options in the UK (currently there is only red and black in Oz where there are about 7 colours in the UK) And the standard under basket is pathetic. Even with the optional basket (that doesn't come standard) it really lacks storage space. Which makes it quite difficult to do a quick shop with the pram!
