this is another one of those products that isn't so known I Australia, but after countless research, I was willing to be an Aussie guinea pig and purchase the Smart Lux. And boy, am I happy!
I love this pram....it glides when you push it, like it's walking on air. It is easy to manoeuvre, even with just one finger if you so desire.
Once you get used to how the pram goes up and down, you'll think it's genius. It fits snuggly in the back of my Mazda 3, with a little room for some shopping.
The main selling point for me was the fact that I could adjust the direction and height that bub was. once he got past the newborn stage, I wanted to still be able to look at him, yet give him an outwards perspectiv. - he gets both of that now.
Only flaw is that you have to have the seat/bassinet facing forwards or completely off to put the pram down. Just adds another step to the process if bub is parent-facing.
i really feel like this pram is the one to last me for all my babies. I can buy accessories to suit bub's age.
price wise, paying a little over $500 for a pram which has been compared to the Bugaboo is a good deal if you ask me.
i love that it has a built in shade component in the hood, which can be released by unzipping a zipper - one less accessorie to purchase.
And the bonus is (had it been available earlier):
However these extras have to be purchased separately for smaller babies.
Very easy to steer even with one hand it handles paved areas with ease, I have walked along footpaths aswell. Does very well in small shops. My partner is 6ft 1 and used the pram with a comment it was good to steer and easy to use.
The seat only has a slight recline but with my boy he prefers to sit upright and look around.
