I have been using the peg skate for nearly 9 months now and LOVE IT.
I had looked at plenty of prams on the market prior to purchasing the skate but fell in love with the look and manoeuvrability of the skate.
The bassinet part of the pram was large and roomie for bubs and offering great protection from all weather elements and due to the overall size bubs was able to stay in it for a lot longer than alot of others on the market.
We purchased the car seat part of the skate system too which was a lifesaver for those times that she had fallen asleep in the car and I was heading into the shops or running errands. Only downside it was heavy to carry after awhile - but after talking to other mums who have similar products this was an overall opinion and not just related to the peg.
she is now in the stroller part of the pram and I love that I can have her facing towards or away from me.
The large hood keeps her well protected from both the sun and the wind and I love that all the covers go with both the bassinet and the stroller.
Easy to assemble and fold up and I find it very light weight to lift into the back of both our 4WD and hatchback.
Easy to manoeuvre around the shops and streets and can easily be pushed with one hand. Not as wide as other prams on the market so does fit all doorways and most shopping aisles.
Comes with its own collapsable basket to use or can be used without and allows for ample storage under the pram.
Overall more than happy with my Peg and would definately recommend to anyone.
I've decide to write a review on the pram my husband and I have purchased for our new baby due in November 2012.
We had been trying to conceive for a long time, so I had plenty of time up my sleeve to do some extensive pram research. As such, when it came to buying our pram, I felt well-armed and it was one of the first items we purchased.
Overall, I find the Skate a beautiful pram to steer, assemble and dissemble. The underneath storage is exceptional - you can put 2-3 green bags underneath because you are not limited by a basket shape, or if you want a set basket you could always leave a container of your choosing under the pram. I find it is easy to collapse and put together, light to lift into the car, and the bassinet to toddler seat (I have the 2011 model) conversion is in my opinion a simple and great solution as it means you don't have to store extra components for the pram.
The only downside in my opinion is the harness. I would have preferred a more firmly anchored harness, but can live with it as I love all other aspects of the pram.
Overall, I can't wait til our little one arrives, as all that is left is for me to take it out and use it as much as possible!
