So considering it was a rushed decision I consider our purchase of a Baby Jogger City Micro an excellent buy, we bought with the intention of using on a trip to Sydney and will hopefully take it with us O/S next year.
The fold is super easy and at 7.5 kg light to lift. We wheeled it through the airport, which meant folding to go through the x-ray scanner and checking at the gate, which was very handy to transport the toddler 26 months.
The pocket on the back of the seat was very handy for storing my wallet, phone and general gear while the basket underneath is quite hard to reach from the back, I found the basket easy to access from the side and surprisingly holds a lot.
The stroller is rated to 22.5kg and DS is currently 13.5 and it was an easy push. It does not have a full recline but enough for a nap while out.
The peek-a-boo window actually works in this pram, I could easily see what DS was upto, the brake was easy to use even when in thongs.
We walked around Darling Harbour, through the city, had it in and out of the car during trips out to visit Bondi & Manly beaches and out to a family event, we found this very easy both walking and convenient with quick fold. I did push it across the grass at both Bondi and Manly and it did quite well but now thinking of it I should have locked the front wheel.
Was a bit of getting used to the handle as it is fixed, I am only 158cm and the OH is over 6ft and we both used it comfortably.
Great stroller, many optional extras, easy to use and suffered no wear or tear from the flight and handling.
