I've had my bee for 2 years now and I still love it.
It's lightweight, great for public transport and lifting up a couple of stairs if required. Manoeuvrability is excellent and you really notice it when you switch to a cheaper pram like a Maclaren umbrella stroller. You can make tight turns without a fuss and push it with only one hand (as i often do when out walking). The breezy hood is a great addition and I no longer use the included hood. The breezy hood comes down much further and my son loves looking out the peek a boo roll up window. I've never had an issue with getting stuck in shops like i imagine othera might woth larger prams, the bee is quite petite and that has suited my very well. Overall a great pram if you're looking for something petite, zippy and light but with the smooth handling of a larger pram.
I have always loved the look of the Bugaboos so when we were on the market for a pram I knew I wanted a Bugaboo. At first we wanted to get the Cameleon because of the basinet. The Cameleon turned out to be too heavy (I am a petite new mum) and I didn't like how it collapsed (2 parts).
I still have trouble folding and unfolding but I think it is because of the cocoon is in the way, should be fine once bub moves on from the cocoon.
Great for shopping centres, easy to manouver and looks great. We got ours on sale at DJs but would have got it regardless. Worth it.
I really love this stroller! It is made for urban environments rather than off roading but still manages well on bumpy pavements.
The steering is great and as the stroller is not as wide as other strollers on the market it is very easy to manouvre.
I have used the Bee with my baby from birth and didn't find the lack of bassinet/capsule a problem. The stroller lies flat and this was adequate. I did purchase the cocoon so that my newborn wasn't too exposed but in hindsight I don't think this was needed.
Other positives about the Bee:
- Light and easy to fold
- Lots of accessories available (some pointless i.e. parasol but some really useful i.e. cup holder, trundle board)
- Large basket
All in all, a lovely stroller and worth the money in my opinion.
