I first saw this pram when I was working in Germany - ABC seems to be their answer to our Steelcraft. I love that it looks different to other prams on the market. The model has only been in australia for a couple of years.
The pram is a travel system compatible with the maxi cosi capsule (you need to purchase the adaptors). I love it!
-seriously easy to unfold. It takes one hand to flick open the base to attach whichever seat option you are using.
- each seat option attaches securely with a loud click so that you know it is connected properly
-fantastic sized wheel base. I looked at the Strider and the Cameleon and this has a much smaller turning circle than either of them (mind you I think my car has a better turning circle than the Strider!)
-optional bassinet for bub (you need this if you don't use the capsule attachment as the seat doesn't lie flat and isn't recommended until bub is 6months)
-easy to fold and fits in the boot of a small sedan.
-adjustable handle height which is suitable for my husband and I as we are both very tall.
-tubeless wheels are lowmaintenance
- the shopping basket is small. This isn't a problem for me,however you won't fit your groceries under this one.
- there are limited accessories available in Australia. There are seriously lovely replacement liners and accessories available in Europe which can be ordered
-the custom rain/shade cover is expensive. Many retailers have it as part of the deal ...
- you can only use it for one child as there isnt a second seat option.
-the pram isn't designed for jogging
Overall this is a great pram if you are looking for a something that isn't the usual pram about the shopping district!
