Ok I'll start from the start beginning when i 1st used penaten cream it was the day after boxing day i was driving to visit my best friend for a Christmas holiday it's usually a 3 and a half hour drive i had my partner and my 2 month old baby son in the car it was almost 40'c that day and the traffic was horrible so from 3 and half hours turned to 10 very long hot hours. Even though i tried to change my son's nappie as much as possible it was so hot when we finally got to my friends house my son bottom was so bad there was some blood and it was so red so i bathed him went to use my normal cream and powders and my best friend said no try this i was hesitant but she told me it has been used in her family for 3 generations so i tried it i used for that whole night well the next day i was surprised his bottom was perfect clear no marks not red well i have never stopped using it i used for everything i still do my son is 5 years old i use it for everything bites scratches burns blisters sand rash chafing u name it i highly recommend this product its abit hard to get and seems expensive but you can order it through the chemist it's about $30 dollars but it last forever my son is 5 and i still have his second tin so 2 tins in 5 years old
Love the cream!! Our little girls rash healed very quickly. Had tried EVERYTHING else. Tin makes it messy & it is expensive but for the rash to heal so quickly it was worth it...
With improved packaging & a little bit cheaper I would give it 5 star!!
the tin is a bit of a pain to open and close without making a mess of it. the cream is very thick which means its difficult to spread on poor baby's skin without hurting them. Its a very messy product to use.
It is effective though, it clears the nappy rash up fairly quickly (day or two) but I would probably use it as a preventer rather than a treatment for this reason.
