I have had this monitor for over 2 years and tbh Ive never really liked it. The movement pad worked well but never ended up using it.
The static is so bad I can barely hear when my daughter wakes, it was also very annoying.
Overall I was happy considering it has lasted over 2 years and has been used regularly since but next baby I will be buying another brand.

When we first got this we loved it because of the movement pad. When our DD was 6 weeks old she stopped breathing and spent some time in hospital so it proved to be reasuring to know that she was still moving/breathing.
However, as far as the actual monitor part goes, it is terrible! It was practically useless for monitoring sound, loads of static, dropped in and out. Very frustrating. Pregnant with #2 now, and planning to get a different one this time.

This is a great monitor. We decided to get it after a family member's baby stopped breathing in the middle of the day and was saved due to the monitor.
The pad that goes under the mattress is very sensitive so as to pick up even the slightest movement and breathing. We stopped using the pad after our baby started moving around the cot, as she would set off the alarm because she had moved off the pad. It is brilliant when your baby is first born, especially for your firstborn, as we were worried that she might stop breathing. This product really gave us peace of mind.
We still use the monitor, without the mattress pad, and it still works great!
