I chose this monitor as it is digital and was relatively cheap compared to some.
We have never had any interference at all and the signal is alwlays clear. The lights on top also move when the baby makes noise so you are able to see even if the sound is turned down.
The rechargeable parent unit lasts a good period of time before needing charging.
You can turn on music and nightlights from the parent unit without going into the baby's room, but we never really used these options as the music was quite loud and fast, not at all soothing.
We are still using this monitor 2 years later and it's going strong.
Money well spent!
