Used correctly, very effective.
It's not intended to remove nits, the indication is to kill live lice.
Resistance to this product by lice is nil because it's a mechanical action of dehydrating the louse body and not a pesticidal approach.
Treatment has to be repeated at eight days after initial treatment to kill hatchlings, then you're in the clear.
i was recently given this produt to try on my daughter. while it smells ok, and doesn't sting eyes with fumes it itsn't the best product i have used to remove nits.
it does kill live lice but doesn't do much to the eggs. it doesn't even help make them slip off easier. you would still need to pick them out one at a time.
the comb they include isn't very easy to use. its pretty narrow and once your hands are covered in the product it gets slippery. i find that the eggs also pass right through the comb.
i much prefer to use dishwashing liquid or conditioner as i know they help remove the eggs as well as the live lice.
