These were the first spoons I Used for my daughter and I loved them. They had a nice thin flexible tip which was great and they are also quite narrow which is good for tiny mouths.
These spoons are a bit flatter and thinner at the tip, which does help get food into baby's mouth when first starting solids. But once baby is comfortable with spoons in general, I don't think this style is really necessary. These might be good for babies that have difficulty weaning in beginning, but for us were only handy for a short while before DD wanted to feed herself all the time.
