I love our aquarium and so did the kids.

It is so easy to get to - right in the heart of Sydney - Darling Harbour.

As soon as you enter you are transformed into an under water world with aquatic life from all different places.

My favourite was the blue ring octopus - never did I realise how small these little critters were.

My eldest daughter loved the sharks, and my youngest daughter loved the hands on tank.

It was great value as we got our tickets online and savied 10%.

Highly recommend to families of all ages.

This is expensive for the size and time it takes to go through it all. It really only takes a couple of hours doing it at 2 year old pace. This isnt that great for a small 2 year old because i had to pick him up to see everything. really wished I had of brought the carrier and not pram. Back was sore after that! Food is expensive but theres lots of food places around so you could go anywhere after, seems it doesnt take very long to go through. The animals are lovely to see though and was a nice short trip with the family.

This place was a hit with my two daughters the large tanks in front of them where they sat in front of and watched sting rays and turtles, and the walk through tunnels with the dugongs in! wow! when you turn to go back there is the most special hologram on the floor that had my kids believing they were swimming on carpet! HAHA! It is expensive but worth to go see and say you did even if it is just once. Note for all - pack your own food and snacks - food there is the most expensive bit!!!!

I took my 2 children 3.5 and 18months to the Sydney Aquarium and i wasnt overly excited with it- the money to get in is a bit steep and not all the functions were working on our day- such as the touch and feel tank which my daughter was excited about it- so that was a let down- really the only thing they were excited by were the large shark tanks- which were really good!

In my opinion the Aquariam is very over priced. Unless you're kids are really into sea creatures I don't think it would be very exciting. I took my sone when he was one and he wasn't too phased. Maybe it's because he was so young? Anyway, I plan on taking him soon now that he is 3 so maybe he will change his view then. Will let you know how it goes !
