Went when our son was a babe in arms & had a fantastic day, he could go on everything with us, and it was no issue taking the pram everywhere apart from on the scenic rail, we took our baby carrier though and left the pram in the shop as we found that easier.
There is a big cafe/resturant with a wide variety of foods, with decent servings and reasonable prices.
So much fun and a great family day out! Highly recommend!
The new scenic cableway is fantastic! My 5 year old daughter loved the scenic railway and made us go on it 3 times! We purchased an unlimited ride ticket so spent half the day experiencing the rides, taking in amazing views and walking around the rainforest. We went early May and they were doing some work around the place so lots of builders and all their equipment everywhere but still a great family day out (after a wonderful relaxing weekend getaway in the Blue Mountains).
Living in the Blue Mountains I had taken for granted this attraction because it was so close and didn't consider it an "attraction" as such - however I have just recently taken my 3 children and can't belive how much fun we had.
Firstly we went down on the Scenic Railway - which is the steepest in the southern hemisphere - followed by a short walk along the scenic walkway which is completley boardwalked so VERY PRAM friendly. We went back up the mountain via the Scenic Cable Car which gave as spectacular views of the 3 sisters and surrounding cliff tops and then finished the day with the Scenic Sky Walk - by far the high light. Imagine hopping into a cable car - with a white glass floor and then the frosting goes away and all you can see is hundred of metres down.
It was a little pricey for all three - with a fmaily of 5 but 100% worth it.
Recommend to all!!!
