A co-operative not for profit farm with horse riding near Sydney. Cheerful family style accommodation and much more - chickens, a petting farm, swimming pool and bike riding. We're in the Ourimbah state forest just an hour north of Sydney

This place is perfect for a quick get away from Sydney. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough away to feel like a real holiday. The sense of community is great and I've met so many wonderful people. I love having the freedom to come and go as I please, and ride my horse, Honey.

Hidden Valley near Ourimbah on the Central Coast gave our family a wonderful opportunity to escape the city and have a country experience, just over an hour from home. There is horseriding, swimming, tennis and small animals for the kids to play with, plus fresh eggs for brekky. It is a co-operative and members can go as often as they like. We joined after just one visit, and now we have our weekends there as often as we can. I know of no better way to give the kids the experience of country living while still living in  Sydney.
