I was so excited to finally visit this zoo but I found it to be very dissapointing. it was nice to see the animals roaming around on the bus trip but i have to say it was very underwhealming. the animals were lying around in the distance, looking bored and tired. It was almost like a retirement village for zoo animals. there were countless gazelle type animals which was rather boring. I would not return and I know of many others who feel the same way. save your money and go to Melbourne zoo.

This is an excellent zoo because it offers something a lot different to going to a traditional zoo. We had a real type encounter with the wildlife who were presented in a far more natural environment and not behind a set of cages or enclosures. We had a very fun filled day out taking children to this zoo as they get to see the animals so up close and personal.

LIONS ON THE EDGE was our favourite part. Kids loved the interactive elements including the abandoned jeep, and the chance to get up close to the king of the jungle.

MEET THE KEEPER is also a fantastic concept. We can ask questions about the habits of our favourite animal.

This is a fantastic concept for a zoo as you get driven around in safari bus  and get to see the wildlife in a more natural setting.
