After the flooding in Brisbane it is so fantastic to see South Bank Parklands back open for business! We recently spent an entire day in the South Bank precinct just enjoying the sunshine and people watching. Our kids had an ice-cream and enjoyed running about - it is a great place to stop and unwind (and let the kids loose on the playground) ~ especially good if you are also visiting at the Museum or the Art Gallery, which is just across the road. (Parking is available at Southbank, but we found that parking in the Museum carpark on the weekend was much cheaper, and easily accessible for all amenities, including Museum, Art Galleries and Science Centre).
Go on ... spend some time in the Queensland Sunshine ! xx
