As a school group we diod the nocturnal walk and I have to say it was great fun.  We each got a torh and there was so much to see and do along the walk.  The Sanctuary is great because everything is kept naturally and its all very educational as well.  I would say though younger children might not be as excited but anyone over 10 would most likely have a great time.  Although I only did the nocturnal walk, it did start late afternoon so we got to see the Sanctuary before the sun went down and it was such an amazing tranquil place.  Highly reccomended if you want to see nature at its best.

This was the most realistic way for small children to experience native australian wildlife out of all the parks i've visited in SA. The park has wonderful walking trails, and very friendly animals. The nightwalks are particularly exciting. However, it may be a bit boring for toddlers who would prefer to see animals more close up and personal.

Definitely a great alternative to the zoo or cleland wildlife park.

"Hands on" Experience!

This Wildlife Park was a wonderful day out for a school excursion - the kids had a fantastic time! The kangaroos, koalas and other animal encounters were a great "hands on" approach to learning about all these wonderful critters! The lunch areas were adequate, with enough space for children to enjoy they're surroundings and listen to the wildlife surrounding them!

Much better than the zoo - this place is open, homely and less commercialised!
