Really enjoy Cleland wildlife park.
Very affordable to visit, easy to navigate and wide variety of animals to interact with.
I grew up visiting this park and really enjoyed it as a child. Now taking my child there is a fun experience to share with her. If you are in Adelaide it's worth the drive to visit

I can't speak highly enough of Cleland Wildlife Park!
Entry prices are very reasonable. The park is very open and easy to get around. The animals have so much room to move around and are all very tame and gentle. I even pat an emu, and fed it the pellets you can get from the front desk for only a few dollars. The bag of food lasted us the whole stay (though that's probably because the animals are never hungry, there are usually a lot of people there to get food from!)
There is a souvenir shop that has apretty decent range of goods. The cafe and dining area is quite nice and offered a welcome rest after several hours of exploring the park.
If you don't want to buy food from the cafe though, there are BBQ facilities as well as tables and benches out in the carpark that (from memory) are free to use. There's plenty of shade offered under the trees as well.
We've been to Cleland several times and I look forward to taking DS for his next visit. I really don't have a bad word for this place!
