We love Packer Park. The playground structure is one massive long elevated ramp, interlinked by various ladders, with multiple entry/exit points (slides, stairs, poles, ladders etc). Underneath the structure are several little hidey holes/shops/tunnels/phones etc, with a couple of cute picnic tables thrown in for good measure. One end of the structure comes out onto a giant gecko/frog perfect for cowboy rides or climbing and great for a photo opportunity. Its been very well designed with plenty of thought given to the different age groups, so all kids from tots to tens will find plenty to amuse. Then there is the rope+platrform climbing frame, the snake with the embedded musical bells, the swing and the see-saw big enough to take 4-6 kids 0_0.
But wait - there's more! There are lots of shady picnic seats, bbq facilities, a little lake with ducks, and lots of flat smooth paths perfect for little bikes and scooters. Plenty of grass for ball games. We have never had a problem with parking, the only problem we have is getting the kids to come home before they reach the point of collapse!!!
