This park has something for everyone. the locals call it the "pirate ship"park because of the huge pirate ship placed upon the top pf a high hill in point cook. the pirate ship is full of activities and sensory experiences as well as lots of climbing opportunities including a crows nest from which you can view all of the surrounding point cook.
For the older kids (and the young at heart) there is a very high, very long and very fast slide starting from two stories up which is guaranteed to have them wanting more. at the base of the hill there is another playground for the littlies with a smaller (yet still exciting) slide built into the side of the hill, a large swing, a sandpit and a climbing web.
With plenty of seating for parents, picnic tables and well maintained BBQ facilities this is one park you could spend the day at. when the kids are tired of running up the hill to ride the slide (over and over and over again) bring out a basketball and play on the adjacent court.
The only downside to this park is the lack of toilets and the overflowing rubbish bins (we assume this is because the park is maintained by the developers of the estate rather than the council) but this by no means put a dampener on our day and we took home 4 very happy and exhausted children who slept well that night.
