This park looks great and my kids were so excited when we turned up and they saw all the playground equipment. There is plenty of sand on the ground and a big wooden play area, swings etc. There were plenty of areas to keep the kids happy.
The only bad thing is that it is easy to lose sight of the kids in different parts of the playground. Much better for older children, as I had to follow my 2 year old around to make sure he was safe.
Great park though, and lots of shade. Parking wasn't too bad either.
This is a great park for the kids with swings, slides, a sandpit and a fort to climb around.
It's well maintained, plenty of shade and my kids love it. There's a great path along the creek for walks, cycling or scootering. There's even a kids 'road traffic' area where the kids can cycle on a mini 'road' with give-way signs and roundabouts.
There are picnic tables and bbqs.
However, I hate that it's not fenced and that the kids have easy access to the creek. The toilets are a fair walk away and you can't leave the other kids in the play area whilst you take one to the toilet unless you've got another parent to watch the kids you are leaving behind. It's hard to see around the back of the fort and easy to lose site of the kids.
A great park - but take a friend to help you watch the kids from all angles, particularly if the kids are just young toddlers.
